2008!

Welcome to 2008! We began by visiting some more friends during the day of January 1, then in the evening, settled in to watch the start of the cricket. Thanks to having a couple of deaf and blind umpires and also, some very good lower order batting, we are in a very good position once again...however at one point it did not look likely at all. Still, I do have some mixed feelings about this with the umpiring misses being so amazing blatent as to actually be embarrassing. Still, you need to take your chances and Symonds certainly did this. Hopefully he can continue this evening and give us a very nice first innings total.

Today was also my first day back at work. It was quite difficult to get out the door after my time off but the party had to end at some point. Hopefully this week should still be relatively quiet as some people are still away on holiday.
